வாக்காளர் அடையாள அட்டை இல்லாதவர்கள் புதிதாக தங்களின் பெயரை இணைக்க புகைப்படத்துடன் ஆன்லைனில் அப்ளை செய்ய தமிழ்நாடு தேர்தல் ஆணையம் கடந்த 2010 முதல் இந்த சேவையை அறிமுகம் செய்துள்ளது.
தற்போது நேரில் இந்த சேவை எண்ணற்ற அரசு பள்ளிகளிலும் நகராட்சி அலுவலங்களிலும் நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. அவற்றில் இந்த சலுகையை தவறவிட்டவர்கள் ஆன்லைனில் அப்பளை செய்து தங்களின் பெயரை இணைத்துக்கொள்ளவும்.
